Why Fifth Harmony’s On Top Of The World!

This year has truly been amazing for Fifth Harmony. They have released their new album, 7/27, they’ve won multiple music awards, and are currently on an international tour! Wow, that’s a lot! With this and much, much more, here’s why 5H is on top of the world!

New Album

5H’s latest album, 7/27, is their second studio album to be released. Their first album, Reflection, had much success debuting at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and having many hits songs including “Sledgehammer”, “Boss” and “Worth It.”

7/27 clearly demonstrates the group’s skills as artists and what they are capable of. The song that really helped 7/27 soar was “Work from Home”, which they released prior to album coming out. Featuring Ty Dolla $ign, this song has not only been successful but is super catchy! When it was first released, it was No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart! With this song, they also became the 12th girl group to top the Rhythmic Songs chart! Also, the Official YouTube music video has reached over an astonishing 940 Million views! Yes, you read that right!

Another notable hit song from the album which reached 161 Million YouTube is “All In My Head.” To date, 7/27 has been their most successful album that everyone should definitely listen to!

7/27 Tour

Fifth Harmony is currently on their 7/27 tour around the world! There tour has become a hit not only because of their amazing music, but also because of the other musicians who joined them. JoJo signed on to tour with the group this past Summer! Also, Ty Dolla $ign made a surprise appearance at 5H’s performance in Irvine!

They recently just finished the U.S. leg of their tour which included Chicago, West Palm Beach, Dallas, St. Louis and Kansas City. Coming up, they will be traveling to Mexico City, Dublin, Glasgow, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Paris and many more! It’s amazing that they get to travel to so many places performing for fans and seeing beautiful sights like this!

Recent Award Wins

This year has truly been Fifth Harmony’s year for winning music awards! At the Teen Choice Awards, they won the Choice’s for Song of the Summer with “Work from Home”, Social Media Queen,  and Song from a Movie or TV show for their song “I’m in Love with a Monster” from Hotel Transylvania 2. They won the Kids’ Choice Award for Favorite Music Group, iHeartRadio Music Award for Best Cover Song for “Uptown Funk”, and the Radio Disney Music Award for Best Music Group.

They were the talk of the VMAs winning the award for Best Collaboration on their song “Work From Home” and Song of the Summer for “All In My Head.”

This past year, they were also dubbed by fans and those in the music industry as the next Destiny’s Child! It’s a true honor being compared to one of the best girl group’s of all time especially since Beyonce was part of the group!

With all of this going on, Fifth Harmony is clearly on top of the world! Wouldn’t it be great if they got a World Seat?

Top 5 Football Players from Spain!

Spain is not only a beautiful country but is known for its many amazing athletes! With football being a popular sport in the country, it’s no wonder it has produced many amazing players! Here are our Top 5 picks of the Best Football Players of All-Time from Spain!

Raúl

Raúl is one of the best strikers to come from Spain. He was born in Madrid and growing up, he played on the Atlético Madrid Infantil team. After this, he started playing for Real Madrid and was the youngest player at 17 Years Old to ever play for the senior side! While playing for Real Madrid, he was clearly a leader, role-model and a true inspiration to fellow footballers. During this time, he won 3 European Cups, 2 Intercontinental Cups, 1 European Super Cup, 6 Ligas and 3 Spanish Super Cups. That’s pretty impressive! Last year while playing for the New York Cosmos, he sadly retired from playing football.

David Villa

David Villa has still got the magic touch, currently playing for New York City FC! He started his professional football career in 1999. Since then, he had played for seven different teams including Real Zaragoza, Sporting Gijon, FC Barcelona, Valencia CF, Atlético Madrid, Melbourne City FC and Spain’s National Team.

He was the first Spanish player to reach 50 international goals and is the Top All-Time scorer in Spain with 59 goals in 97 appearances. His list have included 3 Copa Del Rey wins, 2005-2006 Spanish Player of the Year and 2011 FIFA Club World Cup champion. His many accomplishments have continued while playing for NYCFC for example, being the 2015 NYCFC MVP and being named to the 2015 MLS All Star Team!

Andrés Iniesta

Andrés Iniesta may be only 5’7”, but he has made his mark as one of the best Spanish football players. Before making his international debut in 2006, he trained at La Masia, played for Barcelona (Youth and Senior) and was part of Spain’s National Youth Team. Currently, he’s a central midfielder for FC Barcelona and the Spain National Team.

One of his biggest career moments was at the 2010 World Cup when he scored a goal to secure the title for Spain in the 116th minute! From this, he was named to FIFA’s Team of the Tournament. Other career achievements include winning the FIFA Club World Cup for Barcelona in 2009, 2011, and 2015, receiving the Golden Foot in 2014, and being honored with the Gold Medal of the Royal Order of Sporting Merit in 2011.

Iker Casillas

You can’t make a list of Spain’s best footballers without goalkeeper Iker Casillas! He has become Spain’s most-capped football player of all-time and the best Goalkeeper they have ever had! He was named by IFFHS the best goalkeeper in the world five times!

Even though he is currently playing for FC Porto, he played for Real Madrid until 2015. He made his international debut on Spain’s National Team in 2000 and continues to represent his country. His shining moment was when he led Spain out of a 44-year slump to win at Euro 2008!

Fernando Hierro

Even though this footballer has retired, Fernando Hierro is one of the best from Spain! He played for both the Spain National Team and Real Madrid, with most of his accomplishments with Real Madrid. He played for the team until 2003 with 127 goals and 601 matches played.

He made his mark as one of the best defenders for Real Madrid and Spanish football. Other career accomplishments include 3 European Cups, 2 Intercontinental Cups, 5 Ligas, 4 Spanish Super Cups, 1 Copa del Rey and 1 European Super Cup. He continues to carry on his passion for football by coaching Real Oviedo.
